Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, where it goes, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

ASWATGlobal is the data controller for information collected through this site.

We operate from offices in Madinah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. For any question about this policy or your data, email info@aswatglobal.com.

What we collect

Through the enquiry form on this site:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your WhatsApp or phone number
  • Your company name, if you give it
  • Whatever you write in the message field

If you go on to complete our application form, that collects considerably more — including your LinkedIn profile, intended business activity, funding source, expected launch capital and ownership structure. That form is hosted by Google Forms and is covered by this policy in the same way.

If you accept cookies, we also collect usage data about your visit and how you reached us. See "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your details solely to answer your enquiry, assess whether we can help, and where appropriate prepare a proposal and scope of work.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you initiated — and, once you engage us, performance of a contract. For cookies and advertising measurement, the basis is your consent.

We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated material without asking you first.

Where your data goes, including outside the UK

This is the part worth reading carefully. Company formation in Saudi Arabia cannot be done remotely, so your information is handled by our team inside Saudi Arabia — that is the entire point of the service, and it is unavoidable.

Saudi Arabia is not currently covered by a UK adequacy decision. Where we transfer the personal data of UK or EU residents to our Saudi team, we rely on the transfer being necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or for steps taken at your request before entering one. Where we engage third parties, we put appropriate contractual safeguards in place.

Once you engage us, your information will also be submitted to Saudi government authorities as part of the formation process — including MISA, the Ministry of Commerce, ZATCA, Qiwa, GOSI and Muqeem. That submission is a legal requirement of forming a company in the Kingdom, not a choice we make.

Who else we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run this site:

  • Google (Forms and Sheets) — enquiries and applications are recorded in private files accessible only to our team.
  • Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Ads — only if you accept cookies. They receive usage data about your visit, never the contents of a form you submit.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Where you become a client, records are retained for as long as required by Saudi corporate and tax regulations and our own professional obligations.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

  • Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted, where we have no ongoing obligation to retain it
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Email info@aswatglobal.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Individuals in Saudi Arabia have comparable rights under the Personal Data Protection Law, exercisable through the same address.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our hosting provider sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies that keep the site running and secure. These carry no marketing data and, as essential cookies, do not require your consent.

Beyond those, we set no cookies unless you accept them. Nothing optional is required for the site to work — every page and form functions fully if you decline.

If you accept, we load Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads the tags that tell us how people find this site and which of our adverts lead to a genuine enquiry. We use Google Consent Mode, which holds every one of those tags in a denied state until you choose.

— this clears your choice and asks again. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
